Peggy Little is a Grand Marais resident, she used to be a teacher and now retired she fills her days at her studio with her passion for color. As well as the fused glass jewelry she also creates pottery.
The Process: The glass fuses in a kiln somewhere between 1,200 and 1,500 degrees. It is important in the fusing process to bring glass up to temperature slowly and anneal it properly so it does not become brittle and break easily. The size and thickness of a piece of glass will determine the correct firing process.
